Role description
This is a contract position.
It is a hybrid role with 2 days a week in the office in Vienna, VA.
What will you do in this role?
β’ This team is a team of engineers committed to championing a data-driven decision-making culture and meet the business demand for timely insight-focused analytics and information delivery.
β’ You will be working with all levels of technology from backend data processing technologies (Spark R), Cloud computing technologies and Azure Data Platform
β’ Build end-to-end direct capabilities.
β’ Create and maintain optimal data pipeline architecture.
β’ Build the infrastructure required for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from a wide variety of data sources
β’ Use analytics for capitalizing on the data for making decisions and achieving better outcomes for the business.
β’ Derive insights to differentiate member and team member experiences.
β’ Analyze and define with product teams the data migration and data integration strategies.
β’ Apply experience in analytics, data visualization and modeling to find solutions for a variety of business and technical problems.
β’ Querying and analyzing small and large data sets to discover patterns and deliver meaningful insights.
What skills should you have for this position?
β’ Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or other technology-related field or equivalent number of years of experience.
β’ Solid foundation in data structures, algorithms, design patterns and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
β’ 3+ years professional work experience in IT related to Data Management and Data Migration activities
β’ 2+ years of strong experience with cloud services (Azure preferred)
β’ Experience with any of the following Analytics and Information Management competencies: Data Management and Architecture, Performance Management, Information Delivery and Advance Analytics
β’ Experience with following from Microsoft Azure: ADLS Gen2, Blob Storage, SQL, Data Catalog, Data Factory, KeyVault, Azure AD, Azure SQL, Databricks.
β’ Experience with Python
