Data Engineer

Akkodis is seeking Jr. AWS Data Engineer for a 6+ Months Contract job with a client . Ideally looking Junior AWS data engineer to support the design, development, and maintenance of scalable data pipelines and cloud-based data solutions on Amazon Web Services (AWS). Rate Range: $38/Hour to $45/Hour on W2 (All inclusive) (The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.) Roles and Responsibilities:- Role: Jr. AWS Data Engineer Key Responsibilities • Assist in the development and maintenance of ETL data pipelines using AWS services such as AWS Glue, S3, Redshift, and Lambda. • Support data ingestion, transformation, and validation from multiple structured and semi-structured data sources. • Write and optimize SQL queries for data transformation and analysis. • Develop basic Python PySpark scripts for data processing and automation. • Participate in data quality checks, monitoring, and basic troubleshooting of data pipelines. • Collaborate with senior engineers, analysts, and stakeholders to understand data requirements. • Follow established coding standards, security practices, and data governance guidelines. • Assist in documentation of data pipelines, processes, and technical designs Required Skills • Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field; 02 to 3 years of experience in data engineering, data development, or cloud-based projects. • Working knowledge of AWS services S3, AWS Glue, Redshift, and Lambda (at least 2,3 of these). • Proficiency in SQL and basic-to-intermediate Python. • Familiarity with ETL concepts| data warehousing| and relational databases Understanding of basic cloud concepts and distributed systems Experience with Git or any version control system If you are interested in this role, then please click APPLY NOW.
