We are seeking a Data Engineer to support a Microsoft-driven architecture project for Emerson. The role requires deep expertise in Azure-based data solutions, including ADF, Synapse, Databricks, and Fabric. The ideal candidate should be a self-starter with Azure certifications, capable of working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
β’ Collaborate with the existing engineering team to build and optimize data pipelines, ETL workflows, and integrations using:
β’ Azure Data Factory (ADF)
β’ Azure Synapse Analytics
β’ Azure Databricks
β’ Microsoft Fabric
β’ Align all development work with the clientβs Microsoft architectural framework.
β’ Work with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions.
β’ Support data modeling, performance tuning, and data quality checks.
β’ Troubleshoot and optimize data workflows to ensure reliability and scalability.
β’ Participate in virtual and onsite meetings as required (location: Boulder, CO).
