Role: Data Engineer with Azure - Min 12 years Location: Hybrid (occasional travel to Boulder, CO) Duration: 6 Months Engagement Type: Contract Start Date: Immediate Years of Experience: 12+ Years Preferred Job Summary: We are seeking a Data Engineer to support a Microsoft-driven architecture project for Emerson. The role requires deep expertise in Azure-based data solutions, including ADF, Synapse, Databricks, and Fabric. The ideal candidate should be a self-starter with Azure certifications, capable of working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Key Responsibilities: • Collaborate with the existing engineering team to build and optimize data pipelines, ETL workflows, and integrations using: • Azure Data Factory (ADF) • Azure Synapse Analytics • Azure Databricks • Microsoft Fabric • Align all development work with the client’s Microsoft architectural framework. • Work with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions. • Support data modeling, performance tuning, and data quality checks. • Troubleshoot and optimize data workflows to ensure reliability and scalability. • Participate in virtual and onsite meetings as required (location: Boulder, CO).
