As a Data Engineer, you’ll play a key role in building reliable data pipelines, optimizing data operations, and contributing to architectural best practices. Responsibilities Design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines using the Azure cloud stack Re-engineer existing data processes for efficiency and reliability Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile/Scrum settings Ensure compliance with enterprise data governance frameworks Partner with support and operations teams for seamless implementation Deliver clean, maintainable, and production-ready code Contribute to technical architecture and strategic planning discussions Required Skills & Experience 5+ years in data engineering or cloud infrastructure environments Hands-on experience with: Azure Cloud Services (e.g., Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, Azure SQL) Data modeling, transformation, and ETL frameworks Agile/Scrum development practices Collaboration platforms such as Slack, Jira, and Confluence Proven ability to independently lead technical implementations Experience in cross-team coordination and technical delivery Preferred Qualifications Azure Data Engineering certifications Exposure to fast-paced, innovation-driven environments Understanding of data governance and compliance protocols Job Type: Contract Pay: $55.00 - $60.00 per hour Work Location: Remote
