Job Summary
As a Data Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in building the next evolution of analytics. You’ll collaborate with analysts, scientists, and other engineers to design digital products that solve complex, nuanced problems. This role supports decision-makers across a broad business segment and offers exposure to cross-functional teams, skill development, and meaningful contributions to enterprise-wide initiatives.
Responsibilities
• Design, orchestrate, and build complex data pipelines.
• Gather requirements, transform data, and develop intuitive reporting dashboards.
• Automate processes and reduce technical debt.
• Process 10–15 configuration changes daily for upcoming software releases.
• Run validation checks and resolve errata.
• Document changes thoroughly in tracking systems.
• Collaborate with senior team members and application engineers for clarification and guidance.
• Communicate primarily in written form to ensure clarity and traceability.
Years of Experience and Education
• 5–7 years of experience in data engineering or a related field.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a relevant discipline.
Skills Required
• Strong experience with Microsoft Access, especially the Query Designer.
• Proficiency in SQL.
• Working knowledge of a high-level programming language (e.g., C#, C++, VB.Net, Java, Rust).
• Familiarity with Excel macros and formulas.
• Desired: Python, Power BI or other data visualization tools.
• Strong analytical thinking and troubleshooting skills.
• Effective written communication and teamwork abilities.
