Title: Data Engineer Location: Onsite 5 days a week in Seattle, Washington Duration: Initial 6 months contract with extensions Compensation: $ 50.00-$56.00 Work Requirements: US Citizen, GC Holders or or Authorized to work in US MUST BE LOCAL TO SEATTLE, WASHINGTON Key Responsibilities • Support and maintain AWS data pipelines and services (Glue, Lambda, Redshift) • Consume and process data from APIs and SFTP sources using Python • Perform data modeling and write complex SQL queries • Maintain and deploy infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (GitHub, CI/CD) • Troubleshoot and resolve issues independently with minimal direction • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide technical leadership as needed • Nice to have: Provide secondary support for React-based UIs, including bug fixes and occasional form development Required Skills • Cloud & Data Engineering: • AWS Glue, AWS Lambda, Amazon Redshift • API consumption and SFTP integration • Strong Python programming experience • Data modeling and advanced SQL • Infrastructure as Code (IaC): • CI/CD, GitHub • Full Stack (Nice to Have): • Experience with React.js, especially form building • Ability to address UI-related bugs Ideal Candidate Attributes • Self-starter with strong initiative and accountability • Demonstrated ability to identify issues and propose effective solutions • Comfortable working without constant guidance • Capable of leading small initiatives or guiding less experienced team members • Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skill Our benefits package includes: • Comprehensive medical benefits • Competitive pay • 401(k) retirement plan • ...and much more!
