Title: Data Engineer
Location: Onsite 5 days a week in Seattle, Washington
Duration: Initial 6 months contract with extensions
Compensation: $ 50.00-$56.00
Work Requirements: US Citizen, GC Holders or or Authorized to work in US
MUST BE LOCAL TO SEATTLE, WASHINGTON
Key Responsibilities
β’ Support and maintain AWS data pipelines and services (Glue, Lambda, Redshift)
β’ Consume and process data from APIs and SFTP sources using Python
β’ Perform data modeling and write complex SQL queries
β’ Maintain and deploy infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (GitHub, CI/CD)
β’ Troubleshoot and resolve issues independently with minimal direction
β’ Collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide technical leadership as needed
β’ Nice to have: Provide secondary support for React-based UIs, including bug fixes and occasional form development
Required Skills
β’ Cloud & Data Engineering:
β’ AWS Glue, AWS Lambda, Amazon Redshift
β’ API consumption and SFTP integration
β’ Strong Python programming experience
β’ Data modeling and advanced SQL
β’ Infrastructure as Code (IaC):
β’ CI/CD, GitHub
β’ Full Stack (Nice to Have):
β’ Experience with React.js, especially form building
β’ Ability to address UI-related bugs
