Daily rate: £550 - £600 daily

Job: Data Engineer
You will join a dynamic team focused on building and optimising data integration solutions across AWS systems. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on solving complex data challenges, enjoys working with cutting-edge AWS technologies, and is passionate about enabling data-driven decisions.
Key responsibilities
• Design, build, and maintain robust data integration pipelines across multiple AWS services, ensuring seamless data flow and high data quality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
• Develop and optimise ETL processes for ingestion, transformation, and loading of data into AWS data lakes.
• Work closely with Amazon Connect and the AWS Connect Data Lake to enable customer experience analytics and reporting.
• Ensure security, compliance, and governance of data assets within AWS environments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve data integration issues, providing support and guidance to stakeholders.
What we’re seeking
• Proven experience in data engineering and integration within AWS ecosystems.
• Strong proficiency in AWS services such as Glue, Lambda, S3, Redshift, and related data technologies.
• Expertise in programming languages such as Python or node & IAC technologies such as AWS CDK.
• Solid understanding of ETL processes, data modelling, and data warehousing concepts.
• Hands-on experience with Amazon Connect and the AWS Connect Data Lake is highly desirable.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Great communication skills
Preferred Skills
• AWS Certification (e.g., AWS Certified Data Analytics – Specialty, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, etc.).
• Specialisation in data analytics, big data, or cloud data engineering.
• Experience with data lake architectures and advanced analytics tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
