Senior Front Office Analytics Developer - Data Engineer
Contract – Inside IR35
£650–£850 per day
London – Hybrid (50% in office)
You’ll be joining a global energy trading environment, building Front Office analytics tooling and real-time systems that directly support traders across power and gas markets. Working closely with trading, quant and analytics teams, you’ll deliver scalable, high-impact platforms in a fast-paced setting.
What You’ll Do
• Build and enhance Front Office analytics platforms and data tooling
• Develop and improve real-time systems supporting trading decisions
• Own delivery end-to-end: design, build, test and release
• Partner directly with traders and analysts to refine requirements
• Contribute to both strategic project work and BAU enhancements
Tech stack
• Python and .NET / C#
• AWS cloud infrastructure
• React and modern UI frameworks
• Postgres and ClickHouse
• Kafka or similar messaging technologies
Skills Required
• Strong engineering experience in a Front Office trading environment
• Proven experience delivering in fast-paced, data-driven teams
• Experience building or supporting real-time systems
• Excellent stakeholder engagement skills
• Energy trading (gas/power) experience highly desirable
