Job Title: Storage Data Protection / Infrastructure Engineer (Netbackup Experience)
Duration: long-term contract
Location: Hybrid (Sheffield based)
We are looking for an experienced Storage Data Protection / Infrastructure Engineer to design, develop, and support automation for enterprise data protection services within a banking environment.
Responsibilities
• Build and support automation, reporting, and monitoring for data protection platforms
• Provide engineering support for data protection products and standard usage
Requirements
• Development experience (Python, Bash)
• Working experience with Ansible and Puppet
• Experience in designing and testing REST APIs
• Strong experience with GitHub, Jenkins, CloudBees, Jira, Confluence
• Strong expertise in Veritas NetBackup and Commvault
