Role description
This role is initially a 6 month contract, Inside IR35. You must have experience working on large data projects within a law firm to apply. This role offers hybrid working - 2 days onsite weekly.
Job Responsibilities
• The Data, Reporting & Analytics programme aims to deliver a firm-wide reporting and analytics ecosystem underpinned by robust data governance and a unified data strategy.
• You'll be expected to deliver both tactical improvements and longer-term transformation to master data management.
• The role will focus on standardising, governing, and integrating core master data domains, working closely with business, data, technology, and change colleagues.
• Collaborate with the Data Architect in analysing and documenting as-is and to-be data models, data flows and associated business processes across Kennedys core systems
• Providing gap analysis between the as-is and to-be conceptual data models to ascertain improvements required for data quality and data processes
• Translate business needs into clear functional and non-functional requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria.
• Champion automation of business processes and data flows wherever feasible
Skills Required
• 5 years+ experience in a BA role within a law firm in a data project capacity.
• Demonstrated experience supporting data-focused projects, including master data management, data alignment, data quality, data standardisation, or data governance initiatives encompassing multiple data domains
• Experience supporting global or multi-region organisations.
• Excellent understanding of SQL, Data models, process modelling and improvement.
