Team Leadership Burbank CA preferred 7-10 yrs of hands on experience in Data Engineering with Python & Snowflake Atleast 4+ yrs of exp in AWS Atleast 4+ yrs of exp in Snowflake Should have executed projects in Agile model Leading, mentoring, and guiding a team of data engineers in their daily work and professional development. Project Delivery Overseeing the design, development, and implementation of data solutions, ensuring they align with business needs and are delivered on time and within budget. Technical Strategy Defining the technical roadmap for data infrastructure and tools, and ensuring alignment with overall business and analytics strategies. Data Pipeline Development Designing, implementing, and maintaining data pipelines for extracting, transforming, and loading (ETL) data from various sources. Data Management Ensuring data quality, integrity, and security, implementing data governance policies, and optimizing database performance. Collaboration Working closely with data scientists, analysts, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver effective solutions. Technology Evaluation Evaluating and implementing new data technologies and tools to enhance the team's capabilities and improve data solutions. Troubleshooting Identifying, investigating, and resolving data-related issues, including performance problems and data quality issues. Documentation Creating and maintaining documentation related to data pipelines, systems, and processes. Essential Skills Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of data warehousing, ETL processes, data modeling, and database management systems (SQL, NoSQL). Cloud Technologies Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is often required. Programming Languages Proficiency in languages like Python, Scala, or Java is often needed. Big Data Technologies Familiarity with big data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka is often required. Leadership & Communication Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to effectively manage a team, collaborate with stakeholders, and present technical information. Problem-solving & Analytical Skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot issues and optimize data systems. The pay range that the employer in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is $41.61/hour - $65.01/hour. Our benefits include medical, dental, vision and retirement benefits.
