Title: Software Engineer / Data Location: Smithfield, Rhode Island (2 weeks onsite per month) – local candidates or those who can relocate immediately Interview Process: 2 rounds – 60 minutes each SELLING POINT The team owns a proprietary, enterprise-scale investment performance platform and supports several of client's rapidly growing business areas. This role offers high visibility and the opportunity to work with modern cloud and data technologies. REQUIRED SKILLS (Must Have) This is a data-focused role. Strong data engineers are required — not traditional Java application developers. 1. Primary skillset: Very strong SQL 1. Java experience – must be able to read and modify existing Java code (data transformation engine written in Java; not pure application development) 1. Data engineering mindset and experience working with large datasets and transformations 1.
