Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer with strong Data Modeling expertise to design, build, and maintain scalable data solutions. The ideal candidate will work closely with analytics, data science, and business teams to ensure data is reliable, well-structured, and optimized for reporting and advanced analytics.
Key Responsibilities
• Design and implement conceptual, logical, and physical data models
• Build and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines for structured and semi-structured data
• Develop and optimize data warehouses and data lakes
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and performance across platforms
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into data models
• Optimize SQL queries and data structures for performance and scalability
• Implement data governance, security, and compliance standards
• Support analytics, BI, and downstream data consumers
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Strong experience as a Data Engineer
• Hands-on expertise in Data Modeling (Star Schema, Snowflake, 3NF)
• Proficiency in SQL and relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server, Oracle)
• Experience with ETL/ELT tools (Airflow, dbt, Informatica, Talend, etc.)
• Knowledge of data warehousing concepts
• Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Familiarity with big data technologies (Spark, Hadoop – preferred)
• Understanding of data governance and best practices
