Our client, a top global organization, is seeking an experienced Azure Data Engineer to support the development and optimisation of cloud-based data pipelines and analytics platforms. This role focuses on building scalable data solutions using Azure technologies, Snowflake, and Databricks. As a Data Engineer, you will develop and maintain Azure-based data pipelines, integrating multiple data sources and ensuring reliable data processing. You will work with ADF, Databricks, Snowflake, and Python to build scalable and efficient data workflows.
Key Responsibilities
• Build and maintain Azure Data Factory pipelines
• Develop data ingestion and transformation workflows
• Work with Snowflake and Databricks data platforms
• Write and optimise SQL queries and data models
• Develop data processing logic using Python
• Debug and troubleshoot data pipeline issues
• Ensure data quality and reliability across pipelines
• Integrate multiple data sources into Azure environment
• Support analytics and reporting data requirements
• Collaborate with engineering and business teams
Essential Skills & Experience
• Strong Azure Data Engineer experience
• Expert-level Azure Data Factory (ADF) knowledge
• Experience with Snowflake data platform
• Databricks experience
• Strong SQL skills
• Python for data engineering
• Data pipeline debugging and optimisation
• Experience building ETL/ELT pipelines
• Good communication skills
• Hands-on delivery experience
Desirable Experience
• 6–8 years Data Engineering experience
• Azure cloud data platform architecture exposure
• Performance tuning and optimisation experience
• Experience working in enterprise environments
