Senior Data Analyst (Outside IR35 Contract)

Job Title: Senior Data Analyst Location: Manchester IR35: Outside About the Role We’re hiring a Senior Data Analyst for an immediate contract requirement to join a fast-moving team with a clear mission: identify where the business should expand next. You’ll use data to uncover pockets of opportunity, shape decisions, and help drive smarter marketing and supply strategies. This is a high impact role with strong stakeholder exposure across Marketing and Supply, and the chance to see your insights turn into real world growth. Key Responsibilities • Analyse sales performance and market demand to recommend where to add new properties • Identify pockets of opportunity and build location-level insights to support expansion planning • Partner closely with Marketing and Supply teams to align data-led decisions and priorities • Pull, validate, and interpret data from internal sources (including the brand new centralised data warehouse) • Build clear dashboards and visualisations (Tableau) that tell an actionable story • Produce concise reporting and ad-hoc analysis to support rapid decision-making • Communicate findings confidently to non-technical stakeholders and influence outcomes Person Requirements • Strong SQL skills with experience querying data warehouses • Advanced Excel capability for analysis, modelling, and data manipulation • Experience building insightful visualisations and dashboards in Tableau • Proven ability to translate complex data into clear recommendations • Confident communicator who enjoys collaborating with a range of teams and stakeholders • Experience supporting commercial decisions in areas like network planning, location strategy, supply, or marketing is advantageous Next steps We are shortlisting now with a start date expected no later than 27th April If you’re a commercially minded analyst who can pull the data, find the story, and influence where the business grows next, we’d love to hear from you.
