Role Overview
Design and maintain scalable data architecture and pipelines on Snowflake using ELT patterns, Snowpipe, and Streams/Tasks. Work with AWS services like S3, Lambda, and Glue for ingestion and orchestration. Requires strong expertise in SQL, data modeling, API integration, governance, and performance optimization.
Key Responsibilities
• Design and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines leveraging AWS Glue, S3, Python, and Snowflake (Snowpipe, Streams/Tasks).
• Define data architecture, modeling standards, and best practices for performance and cost optimization.
• Oversee API-based ingestion strategies and secure integrations.
• Implement governance, RBAC, masking policies, and compliance frameworks.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align data solutions with business needs.
• Support deployment automation using CloudFormation and CI/CD pipelines.
• Monitor and optimize workloads using CloudTrail, Snowsight, and AWS logging tools.
Required Skills
• Expertise in Snowflake architecture, ELT, Streams/Tasks, Snowpipe.
• Proficiency in AWS services: Glue, S3, Lambda, IAM.
• Strong SQL and data modeling skills.
• Knowledge of API integration and security best practices.
