Data Engineer (Fabric) - Inside IR35 - 1x Per 2 Weeks in North East

Contract Microsoft Fabric Data Engineer £550 per day, inside IR35 1x per every 2 weeks to Morpeth, North East England We’re looking for an experienced Microsoft Fabric-focused Data Engineer for an initial 3-month contract, starting ASAP. This role would suit a senior data engineer who is confident delivering end-to-end data integration, transformation, and visualisation solutions within Microsoft Fabric, while also providing technical leadership across the team. Key experience: • 7+ years’ Data Engineering experience • Strong Microsoft Fabric experience • Excellent Azure background • Recent AWS / cross-cloud exposure • Experience integrating contact centre platforms, ideally including AWS Connect • CRM and line-of-business application integration experience • Bronze / silver / gold data pipeline development • Data matching, quality rules, and data modelling experience • Lakehouse and semantic model optimisation for Power BI reporting • Power BI dashboard development • Ability to mentor less experienced engineers • Agile delivery experience • Strong stakeholder management skills You’ll be helping to deliver Fabric-based data solutions that support operational insight, channel shift analysis, and better decision-making across the organisation.
