Job Summary
We are seeking a hands-on Palantir Foundry Engineer to design ontology-driven data products, build reliable pipelines, and operationalize governed datasets for enterprise applications. You will own the end-to-end lifecycleβfrom raw data ingestion to production-grade pipelines powering Workshop/Slate apps and AIP agents.
Key Responsibilities
β’ Design ontologies, data models, and authoritative datasets with clear lineage and governance.
β’ Build Foundry pipelines using SQL, PySpark/Scala, orchestrate DAGs, and manage incremental & snapshot materializations.
β’ Configure schedules, SLAs/SLOs, alerts, data quality checks, and operational monitoring.
β’ Implement RBAC, PII handling, policy tags, and secure data contracts.
β’ Optimize performance (joins, partitions, caching, Parquet/Delta).
β’ Use Git-backed repos for versioning, code reviews, testing, and environment promotion.
β’ Enable Workshop/Slate applications and AIP/Actions integrations with ontology-backed datasets.
β’ Support on-call, incident response, RCA, and runbook development.
Required Experience
β’ 7+ years in data engineering; 4+ years hands-on in Palantir Foundry.
β’ Strong SQL & PySpark/Scala in Foundry.
β’ Deep expertise in Ontology, Code Workbooks, Pipelines, Materializations, and permissions.
β’ Experience with SLAs, alerting, backfills, rollbacks, and CI/CD for Foundry.
β’ Cloud experience (AWS/Azure/GCP) and performance tuning skills.
β’ Strong understanding of governance, PII, and security models.
