Position: Data Engineer
Job Type: 6-12 Month Contract to Hire
Location: Fully Remote in Minnesota

REQUIRED SKILLS/ QUALIFICATIONS:.
• 2+ years of experience as a Data Engineer working in a cloud environment- more on the reporting than ingestion side!
• Strong experience on the payer/health insurance/PBM side
• Expertise in SQL and Python
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Pharmacy RX claims data experience- HOMERUN!
• Experience in technologies related to their tech stack (Azure, Databricks, PySpark, GitHub, PowerBI, Airflow)
• Relevant certifications (Azure, Databricks etc)
Insight Global is seeking an Data Engineer to join a pharmacy health plan product team. This person will be responsible to:
• Design, develop, and implement end-to-end data solutions using Azure Databricks.
• Convert current SQL to Python code in Databricks.
• Modify and maintain data pipelines.
• Write, test, and optimize PySpark and SQL scripts to transform and load high volumes of structured data.
• Update or maintain existing data pipelines in a production setting.
• Ensure data quality and integrity by implementing data validation and cleansing processes.
• Demonstrate strong verbal communication and critical thinking skills, working well within a team environment and not being afraid to speak up.
