This is a 6-12-month contract working remotely in the Denver metro area (Must be located in CO) offering a pay rate of $74 per hour based on skillset. Role Details • Compensation: $74/hr • Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, and direct primary care benefits. After six months of employment, enjoy a 4% matched 401(k) plan with immediate 100% vesting. • Duration: 6-12-month contract • Location: Remote within CO (Must reside in CO) What You’ll Be Doing • You will be designing and implementing modern Lakehouse architectures using some AWS managed services, open table formats(Iceberg) and compute running in our EKS/Argowf environments. What We’re Looking For • 4-5 years of recent experience within data engineering / AWS is a must as a software engineer not DBA. • Must have an understanding of Data modeling concepts. • AWS Lakehouse Architecture Expertise required. • Strong proficiency in Python for data engineering tasks is required. • Experience with DataOps practices and CI/CD for data pipelines is nice to have. • Familiarity with Terraform or CloudFormation for infrastructure-as-code is preferred.
