Data Engineer

We are looking for a Data Scientist who is equally at home engineering scalable data pipelines as they are developing agentic AI models. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in transforming raw procurement and financial data into high-impact predictive tools. From architecting medallion layer data structures to deploying machine learning models that optimize supply chain operations, your work will directly influence our enterprise strategy. What You Will Do • End-to-End Development: Design and implement scalable data pipelines while building, training, and deploying ML models for spend classification and market research. • Innovative AI: Implement agentic AI workflows for multi-step reasoning and procurement tracking. • Data Architecture: Maintain Bronze/Silver/Gold data layers to ensure top-tier quality, lineage, and governance. • Collaboration: Partner with SAP functional teams and cross-functional SMEs to translate complex business needs into data-driven solutions. • MLOps: Register, version, and monitor models throughout their entire lifecycle to ensure continuous performance and reliability. What You Bring • Experience: 4+ years of combined experience in Data Science and Data Engineering. • Tech Stack: Strong proficiency in Python and SQL, with hands-on experience in cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Databricks. • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field. • Strategic Mindset: Familiarity with Agile/SAFe practices and the ability to navigate complex ERP systems like SAP S/4HANA. Bonus Points For • Experience with LLM-based workflow automation and agentic AI frameworks. • A Master’s degree in a quantitative discipline. • Background in the Utility or Energy industry.
