Contract to Hire
This role will focus on designing, implementing, and maintaining robust data integration pipelines using Fivetran and AWS-native services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud-based data architecture solutions, real-time data replication, and enterprise-scale integration implementations.
Essential Duties
• Build and maintain scalable data pipelines using Fivetran, AWS Glue, and Apache Iceberg to support real-time and batch data flows
• Implement transformation logic and orchestration workflows to support business-critical integrations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define integration requirements and deliver high-quality solutions
• Manage and monitor Fivetran connectors, AWS Glue jobs, and Iceberg table configurations to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
• Provide Tier 2/3 support for data integration issues, including troubleshooting Fivetran sync failures, Glue job errors, and Iceberg table inconsistencies.
• Monitor pipeline health and proactively address latency, throughput, and data quality concerns.
• Support onboarding of new data sources and assist teams in leveraging data products effectively.
• Document operational procedures and provide training to internal stakeholders on integration tools and workflows
• Document integration processes, data flows, and architectural decisions.
• Maintain metadata catalogs and lineage tracking for all data products and integration assets.
• Ensure compliance with internal security standards and external regulatory requirements.
• EducationBachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field.
Experience
• 5+ years of experience in data engineering or integration roles.
• Proven expertise with Fivetran, including connector configuration, transformation logic, and monitoring.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS services such as Glue, Lambda, S3, Redshift, and IAM.
• Proficiency in SQL and scripting languages.
• Experience with Snowflake or similar cloud data warehouses.
• Familiarity with metadata management and data cataloging tools.
• Other Skills RequiredStrong organizational, verbal and written communication skills.
