Job Description: Senior Data Engineer Position: Senior Data Engineer Location: Hybrid – Monthly Onsite (1st Wednesday of each month) About the Role We are seeking a seasoned Senior Data Engineer with expertise in Snowflake, SQL, and Azure Data Factory (ADF) to support enterprise data warehousing and reporting initiatives. The role involves designing scalable ETL pipelines, optimizing data models, and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure business intelligence needs are met. The engineer will also work closely with Sigma (a reporting tool integrated with Snowflake). Prior Sigma experience is not required but experience with other reporting tools (OBIEE, Power BI, Tableau, etc.) is highly desirable. Key Responsibilities β€’ Design, build, and maintain scalable ETL pipelines using ADF and related tools. β€’ Collaborate with architects, data analysts, and business teams to deliver reporting solutions. β€’ Optimize Snowflake data models and queries for performance and scalability. β€’ Support data warehousing initiatives and ensure data quality. β€’ Participate in monthly onsite meetings (1st Wednesday of each month). Required Skills β€’ Strong SQL expertise with complex queries and performance tuning. β€’ Hands-on experience with Snowflake (preferred) or ability to learn quickly. β€’ Proficiency in Azure Data Factory (ADF); Informatica or Oracle Warehouse Builder experience also acceptable. β€’ Experience with at least one reporting/BI tool (OBIEE, Power BI, Tableau, etc.). β€’ Strong foundation in data warehousing concepts, design, and implementation. β€’ Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
