Role Description This is an on-site contract role for a Data Engineer GCP, located in San Jose, CA. The Data Engineer will be responsible for developing, testing, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and systems. Daily tasks include data modeling, building and optimizing data warehouses, performing Extract Transform Load (ETL) processes, and conducting data analytics. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity and improving data processes will be key parts of the role. Qualifications • Data Engineering, Data Modeling, and Data Warehousing skills • Experience with Extract Transform Load (ETL) processes • Proficiency in Data Analytics techniques and tools • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in an on-site environment • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field is preferred • Prior experience with GCP (Google Cloud Platform) is a plus • Strong communication skills Data Engineer GCP Location: San Jose, CA (Onsite) – Local to CA Require 5-7 years of experience Data Engineers GCP Strong knowledge in writing and interpreting complex SQL queries – Experience in GCP is plus Strong ability to design, develop, test and maintain ETL solution in Google Cloud Platform especially in BigQuey Require 5-7 + years of experience Data Engineers GCP Strong knowledge in writing and interpreting complex SQL queries Experience in GCP is plus. Strong ability to design, develop, test and maintain ETL solution in Google Cloud Platform especially in BigQuey. Experience in discovering the raw information from different sources to create consistent, scalable architectures that enable data extraction and transformation for data analytics. Good analytical knowledge in understanding the business needs and translate to technical req. Experience in UC4 is plus (1.) Key Responsibilities 1. To be responsible for providing technical guidance to a team of developers, enhancing their technical capabilities and increasing productivity. 1. To conduct comprehensive code reviews, establish and oversee quality assurance processes, performance optimization , implementation of best practices and coding standards to ensure successful delivery of complex projects. 1. To ensure process compliance in the assigned module| and participate in technical discussions/review as a technical consultant for feasibility study (technical alternatives, best packages, supporting architecture best practices, technical risks, breakdown into components, estimations). 1. To collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, deliverables and accordingly prepare and submit status reports for minimizing exposure & closure of escalations.
