Overview:
Our client is looking for a skilled Backend/Data Engineer to help build and maintain scalable, efficient data pipelines for acquired company data, leveraging AWS cloud services and serverless architectures. Youβll be at the intersection of data engineering and backend development, working with cutting-edge tools to support seamless data integration and infrastructure automation.
Key Responsibilities:
β’ Data Pipelines & ETL:
β’ Design, develop, and optimize ETL jobs using AWS Glue to ingest and transform data.
β’ Infrastructure as Code (IaC):
β’ Provision and manage AWS resources using AWS CDK (or Terraform/Pulumi as alternatives).
β’ Database Management:
β’ Work with DynamoDB for NoSQL needs and Redshift for analytical workloads.
β’ Serverless & API Development:
β’ Implement backend components using Lambda, SQS, and API Gateway to build event-driven architectures and data APIs.
