Do you have experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, managing cloud infrastructure with AWS, and scripting with Python or Groovy? Let us help you make your next big career move a reality! What You Will Be Doing As a DevOps Engineer within our technology team, you will focus on designing, developing, and implementing solutions that improve automation, deployment, and system reliability. You will collaborate with development, operations, and architecture teams to create scalable and efficient pipelines using tools like Github Actions, Terraform, and various AWS services. In this contract role, you will work on supporting multiple application versions, failover strategies, and high availability initiatives. Your efforts will contribute to streamlining release processes, troubleshooting deployment issues, and ensuring compliance with security standards. You will also participate in code review, testing, and the continuous improvement of DevOps practices across the organization. Key Responsibilities • Develop and maintain automated build, test, and deployment pipelines using Github Actions and scripting languages such as Python and Groovy. • Design and implement infrastructure-as-code solutions with Terraform, ensuring scalable and reliable cloud environments. • Support and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines, resolving build and deployment issues promptly. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate APIs and optimize system performance and resiliency. • Configure and manage AWS services including Elastic Beanstalk, ALB, Lambda, and CloudWatch to support deployment and monitoring efforts. • Write scripts in Bash, Python, or Groovy to automate system tasks and API interactions. • Assist in implementing high-availability strategies such as blue/green deployments and failover configurations. • Validate code quality with static analysis tools like Sonarqube and address security considerations consistently. • Support the versioning and deployment of multiple API environments and ensure their operational stability. • Document processes and procedures to ensure knowledge sharing and compliance with standards. Required Skills & Experience • 3+ years of related experience in DevOps or cloud automation roles. • 2+ years of experience managing cloud infrastructure, particularly with AWS. • Proficiency with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, Groovy, or Shell scripting. • Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, including GitHub Actions, Maven/Gradle, and Jenkins. • Hands-on experience with AWS services, including Elastic Beanstalk, CloudWatch, Lambda, and ALB. • Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or similar configuration management systems. • Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes. • Familiarity with API management tools like Kong and API Gateway concepts. • Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to operate independently. • Experience working in Agile environments utilizing Scrum, JIRA, and Confluence. • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. High School Diploma or equivalent and a valid Driver's License. Desired Skills & Experience • Familiarity with Snowflake Data Cloud or enterprise data warehouse concepts. • Experience developing applications with Quarkus or similar frameworks. • Knowledge of performance tuning and cloud cost optimization techniques. • Exposure to digital architecture trends and emerging DevOps technologies. • Previous experience working with Microsoft Office applications and Visio.
