Role description
JOB TITLE: Data Engineer III LOCATION: Atlanta, GA DURATION: 6 months PAY RANGE: $62 - $72/hr. TOP 3 SKILLS: Strong experience designing and building AWS-based data pipelines (Redshift, S3, Glue, EMR, Kinesis, Lambda) to collect, transform, and deliver operational data for analytics and BI use. Proven ability to optimize ETL processes and query performance, ensuring scalable, reliable, and efficient data systems. Solid background in data modeling, warehousing, and troubleshooting data quality issues, including root-cause analysis of anomalies. QUALIFICATIONS: Must Have Hard Skills: An understanding of operational data from the AWS fleet, and build mechanisms for retrieving and aggregating such data for use by downstream business intelligence solutions. Optimize the performance of data queries and address extract, transform, load (ETL) procedures. Experience with AWS technologies like Redshift, S3, AWS Glue, EMR, Kinesis, FireHose, Lambda, and IAM roles and permissions Nice to haves: Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines Experience with non-relational databases / data stores (object storage, document or key-value stores, graph databases, column-family databases) Performing deep-dives to find root causes of potential data anomalies and taking subsequent action to address these anomalies.
