Data Engineer III

Duration: 10 months contract Job Description The main function of the Data Engineer is to develop, evaluate, test, and maintain architectures and data solutions within the organization. The typical Data Engineer executes plans, policies, and practices that control, protect, deliver, and enhance the value of the organization’s data assets. As a Data Engineer in the Survey Warehouse and measurement area, you will have the opportunity to work across a family of applications. Your technical skills and analytical mindset will be utilized in designing and building some of the world's most extensive data sets, helping to craft experiences for billions of people and hundreds of millions of businesses worldwide. Responsibilities • Work with the Survey Data and Marketing Data Science team, translating their needs into tangible analytical solutions to improve marketing efficacy through streamlined and automated reporting. • Design and develop data models, pipelines, dashboards, and other analytic solutions to support marketing programs and campaigns. • Solve data integration problems, utilizing optimal Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) patterns, frameworks, query techniques, and sourcing from structured and unstructured data sources. • Collaborate with engineers, data scientists, and marketers to understand data needs and represent key insights meaningfully. • Conceptualize data architecture for large-scale projects, evaluating design and operational cost-benefit tradeoffs. • Implement security models based on privacy requirements, confirm safeguards are followed, and address data quality issues. Minimum Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent. • 5+ years of experience working with data in roles such as data analyst, data scientist, or data engineer. • 5+ years of experience with SQL, ETL, data modeling, data visualization, and at least one programming language (Python preferred). • Experience working in Marketing Analytics or Marketing Technology is preferred.
