Kforce has a client in Westlake, TX that is seeking a Data Engineer (Informatica). Summary: The Data Engineer will be playing a key role in designing and crafting a modern Data and Information Delivery and Analytics platform in the cloud to support Equity Compensation products for the Global markets. They will be working closely with architects and engineers and business SMEs to build and release solutions that help customers get the information they need fast and intuitively.
Requirements
β’ Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a technology related field (e.g. Computer Science, Engineering, etc.) required
β’ 10+ years of hands-on experience in Data engineering, data warehousing and analytics technologies
β’ Proven ability with modern Object-Oriented Programming Languages (Python, Scala, Java)
β’ Advanced skills in data intensive application development, data integration, and data pipeline design patterns on a distributed platform
β’ Strong knowledge of designing data engineering solutions and platforms
β’ Working experience with Relational Databases like Oracle
β’ Experience with business intelligence and analytics tools such as OBIEE, PowerBI or Tableau
β’ Strong working knowledge of cloud native data warehousing and data lake solutions using Snowflake, Redshift etc.
β’ Experience building scalable patterns for data consumption from cloud based data-lakes
β’ Advanced experience with PL/SQL and complex queries
β’ Solid understanding of Cloud Computing and DevOps concepts including CI/CD pipelines
β’ Significant experience with ELT data integration and data movement design patterns
β’ Working experience of NoSQL and BigData technologies such as e.g. Hadoop, HBase, MongoDB, Cassandra, etc.
β’ Ability and passion for leading tech teams and mentor junior engineers
β’ Ability to collaborate with other technical and business minds in the organization
β’ Ability to learn and experiment with new technologies and patterns
β’ Penchant for modern test driven and automation driven software development methodologies
β’ Expertise in converting technology goals into achievable initiatives and Epics and stories
β’ Experience in executing projects in an Agile environment
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
