Responsibilities Kforce has a client that is seeking a Data Engineer in Costa Mesa, CA. In this role, you will analyze results and communicate ideas, both verbally and in writing to both technical and non-technical audiences. Requirements • Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science or related discipline • 2+ years of experience building and supporting analytics backend systems for business intelligence • Experience extracting data from complex data warehouses using SQL and/or stored procedures • Experience with data flows, hierarchies, and data aggregation • Experience with big data platforms such as Hadoop and Cloudera • Experience with Python (PySpark, pandas) for data engineering • Knowledge of BI (Business Intelligence) reporting systems such as Tableau • Understand software development principles and operations • Analytical Skills: Data Analysis, Logic, Statistics • Computer Applications: Tableau (or similar BI Tool), SQL, Hadoop (including Impala, Spark) • Ability to work remotely • Experience administering Tableau environment a plus The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role.
