Role description
Epitec is seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join our automotive client's team for a remote position. As a Data Engineer, the candidate will play a pivotal role in modernizing data operations by cleansing and transforming data, delivering actionable insights through advanced dashboards, supporting CRM transformation to Salesforce.
β’ This is an ongoing W2 contract with potential for conversion (C2C is not available)

Responsibilities:
β’ Lead data cleansing initiatives using Alteryx, ensuring high data quality and consistency
β’ Design and deliver impactful data visualizations using Power BI and Tableau
β’ Build and maintain Power BI dashboards for both internal teams and external stakeholders
β’ Develop and enhance an IT Help Desk ticketing solution within SharePoint or a similar platform
β’ Support and integrate data related to EDI, yard management, and transportation management systems
β’ Partner with business and technical stakeholders to translate data needs into scalable solutions
β’ Contribute to CRM modernization efforts, including hands-on Salesforce development and configuration
Qualifications:
β’ Alteryx certification with deep expertise in data cleansing and preparation
β’ Strong experience with Microsoft Power BI and Tableau for data visualization
β’ Proven ability to create stakeholder-facing dashboards and reports
β’ Experience building IT Help Desk or ticketing tools in SharePoint or comparable platforms
β’ Familiarity with EDI and logistics-related systems (yard management / transportation management)
β’ Salesforce development or administration experience, with the ability to contribute from day one
β’ Ability to work remotely, with preference for candidates located near Dearborn, MI or Tacoma, WA
