Data Engineer

Epitec is seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join our automotive client's team for a remote position. As a Data Engineer, the candidate will play a pivotal role in modernizing data operations by cleansing and transforming data, delivering actionable insights through advanced dashboards, supporting CRM transformation to Salesforce. • This is an ongoing W2 contract with potential for conversion (C2C is not available) • This is a remote position Responsibilities: • Lead data cleansing initiatives using Alteryx, ensuring high data quality and consistency • Design and deliver impactful data visualizations using Power BI and Tableau • Build and maintain Power BI dashboards for both internal teams and external stakeholders • Develop and enhance an IT Help Desk ticketing solution within SharePoint or a similar platform • Support and integrate data related to EDI, yard management, and transportation management systems • Partner with business and technical stakeholders to translate data needs into scalable solutions • Contribute to CRM modernization efforts, including hands-on Salesforce development and configuration Qualifications: • Alteryx certification with deep expertise in data cleansing and preparation • Strong experience with Microsoft Power BI and Tableau for data visualization • Proven ability to create stakeholder-facing dashboards and reports • Experience building IT Help Desk or ticketing tools in SharePoint or comparable platforms • Familiarity with EDI and logistics-related systems (yard management / transportation management) • Salesforce development or administration experience, with the ability to contribute from day one • Ability to work remotely, with preference for candidates located near Dearborn, MI or Tacoma, WA
