Data Engineer

Responsibilities Kforce has a client that is seeking a Data Engineer in Saint Louis, MO. Duties Include: • Data Engineer will understand existing processes and workflows through direct interactions with end-users and cross-functional process owners • Analyze information and data from users and process owners to deliver reliable and scalable data flows • As a Data Engineer, you will interact with product owners and Data Science and Software Engineering teams to iterate quickly and improve data assets • Build data models and pipelines using the latest cloud technologies that support fast and scalable problem solving Requirements • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related engineering field • Relevant real-world experience developing scalable software • Experience in designing data flows and building data models on cloud technology • Fluent in SQL • Experience with high velocity CI/CD systems, Agile ways of working and A/B testing to accelerate iteration cycles Technology Skills • SQL • GitHub • Python • PySpark • Snowflake • Azure DevOps • Azure Databricks • Azure Data Factory • Azure Synapse The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law.
