Our Maine-based client is expanding their Data Engineering team and seeking a skilled professional to help drive ongoing cloud migration efforts to Google Cloud Platform (GCP). This is an exciting opportunity to work with modern cloud data technologies, collaborate across teams, and make a direct impact in building and optimizing enterprise-level data pipelines and ingestion workflows. Role Overview As a Data Engineer, you will: β€’ Design, develop, and implement data ingestion and pipeline workflows on GCP. β€’ Work independently and collaboratively to deliver multiple projects from concept to completion. β€’ Support and troubleshoot existing pipelines and ensure data quality, performance, and security. β€’ Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to cloud modernization initiatives. Must-Have Skills β€’ 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering β€’ Strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) β€’ Hands-on experience with BigQuery, Google Pub/Sub, Google Dataform, and Cloud Composer (Airflow) β€’ Proven experience building and managing data ingestion and pipelines β€’ Strong SQL skills for querying, transformations, and debugging β€’ Experience with GitHub for version control β€’ Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
