Data Engineer

Responsibilities Kforce has a client that is seeking a Data Engineer in Westlake, TX. Duties Include: • Design, develop, and optimize complex database solutions using PL/SQL and modern RMDS platforms • Lead data modeling, analysis, and integration efforts across Snowflake, Oracle, PostgreSQL, and MS SQL Server • Design and implement ETL workflows using tools like Informatica • Champion CI/CD practices to streamline deployment and integration processes • Collaborate with product and technology teams to gather requirements and make informed design decisions • Mentor and guide junior data engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery Requirements • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science Engineering • 6-8 years of strong database development experience (PL/SQL) • 6-8 years of experience with Databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, MS SQL Server) • Hands-on experience with data warehouse solutions like Exadata • Proven expertise in data analysis and modeling • Hands-on experience with ETL technologies (Informatica preferred) • Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure) • Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and tools • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law.
