Snowflake Developer | Boston, United States | Hybrid Hybrid – Boston 2 days a week Long term extendable contract Rate $78.57/hr 40 hours per week We're working with Experis on this exciting opportunity. Our client is seeking a highly skilled, experienced, and motivated Snowflake Architect/Developer to join their team. This long-term extendable contract offers a competitive rate and the chance to work with a leading Snowflake architecture team, delivering scalable, high-performance solutions for business analytics and reporting requirements. You'll have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge cloud data architecture and grow your expertise in a collaborative environment. Key Responsibilities: • Monitor and optimize performance, including query performance, resource utilization, and storage management. • Manage user access, roles, and permissions to ensure data security and compliance. • Support and manage data integration processes, including data loading, transformation, and extraction. • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Snowflake-related issues. • Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, procedures, and changes. • Work closely with data engineers, analysts, and other IT professionals for seamless integration. What You'll Need: • 5+ years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, or database development. • 2+ years of hands-on experience with Snowflake, including data modeling, performance tuning, and security. • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. • Experience with source control tools (GitHub preferred), ETL/ELT tools, and cloud platforms (AWS preferred). • Deep understanding of data warehousing concepts, dimensional modeling, and analytics. • Strong proficiency in SQL and Python.
