This role will play a key part in shaping enterprise data architecture, driving modernization efforts, and enabling advanced analytics and AI/ML initiatives. About the Role: This position involves leading the design and implementation of scalable data architectures and optimizing data solutions to align with business goals. Responsibilities: • Design and implement scalable data architectures (Data Lakes) • Build and optimize batch and streaming data pipelines • Lead cloud migration and data modernization initiatives • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align data solutions with business goals • Implement data governance, metadata management, and data quality frameworks • Support AI/ML workflows by integrating data platforms and tools • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members • Ensure best practices in automation, documentation, and version control Qualifications: • 7+ years of experience in data engineering or data architecture • Strong experience with AWS services • Hands-on experience with Databricks • Proficiency in SQL and Python • Experience building and maintaining large-scale data pipelines • Strong understanding of modern data architecture patterns • Experience with data governance and data quality practices Preferred Skills: • Experience with AI/ML integrations • Background in cloud migration and enterprise data modernization • Familiarity with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker • Experience working in Agile environments
