Data Engineer Lead

The Role • Design, build, and support a modern data platform, focusing on Databricks and cloud-based data engineering. • Lead the migration of legacy Oracle systems into scalable, cloud-native environments. • Support the organization's data strategy for Finance and Regulatory domains, ensuring high-quality, reliable data pipelines and models. • Shape architectural direction and ensure engineering excellence in the Data Engineering function. • Collaborate with Technology, Architecture, and Business teams across the organization. • Lead the design and development of Data Marts using Databricks (SQL / Python). What You'll Need • Proven experience as a Data Engineer Lead with expertise in Databricks and cloud-based data engineering. • Strong background in migrating data assets from Oracle database systems to modern cloud data platforms. • Proficiency in SQL, Python, and ETL processes. • Experience with version control, CI/CD, orchestration, and environment management best practices. • Ability to provide technical leadership, mentoring, and coaching to data engineers. • Excellent communication skills to translate complex technical decisions into clear business impacts for senior stakeholders.
