Role description
Data Engineer (x6) Contract Length: 6 months Day Rate: £400 per day (Inside IR35) Location: Fully remote (UK-based) WRK digital is proud to be supporting a partner consultancy delivering into the public sector, who are looking to onboard a team of six Data Engineers to support the design and development of ETL solutions. This is a new client engagement, offering the opportunity to work on a high-impact programme within a structured and well-established delivery environment. Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, and maintain ETL solutions, primarily using Talend. • Work with stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into scalable solutions. • Support data integration, transformation, and migration activities across multiple systems. • Ensure high standards of data quality, governance, and documentation. Technology • Primary tool: Talend • Additional experience with tools such as Pentaho, Informatica, Oracle, and SQL is beneficial Requirements • Proven experience delivering ETL solutions, with strong hands-on expertise in Talend. • Experience working within consultancy or client-facing environments is advantageous. • Background in public sector projects is preferred. • Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders. • Must be based in the UK and have the right to work in the UK.
