Data Engineer Manager

Data Engineer Manager Must be able to work a hybrid schedule. The Data Engineer Manager will provide leadership and alignment for one or more units. Shares a collective responsibility with IT Leadership to improve organizational performance and identify opportunities to better serve customers with an eye on long-term perspectives. Requirements • 7-10 years of overall professional experience • Minimum of 3+ years of direct people management experience with engineers • Healthcare industry experience required • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a technical team, not just manage projects or serve as a technical lead • Experience operating in ambiguity and building structure in an early stage or evolving environment • Strong technical credibility in data engineering, including experience overseeing SQL based data work • Working knowledge of Python in a data engineering or pipeline context • Experience with batch and API driven data integrations and data movement between systems • Ability to evaluate technical designs, ask probing questions, and set standards for reliability, monitoring, and scalability • Experience supporting regulatory and compliance considerations within a healthcare or similar environment Healthcare IT Leaders is a national leader in IT workforce solutions, connecting healthcare provider, payer and life sciences organizations with experienced technology talent for consulting and full-time hiring.
