• Troubleshoot technical issues and provide appropriate recommendations and resolutions.
• Produce clear technical documentation and communicate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Required experience and skills
• Proven experience designing or developing enterprise-scale data platforms.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, particularly cloud-based data and integration services.
• Strong experience with Databricks, including data engineering, pipeline development, or platform implementation.
• Knowledge of enterprise architecture principles, integration patterns, data architecture, governance, security, and technology standards.
• Experience using AI-based or AI-assisted coding tools to develop, automate, optimize, or refactor code and data pipelines.
• Strong understanding of application, data, and infrastructure design.
• Experience working across multiple IT systems or technology domains.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to work independently, determine priorities, and make informed technical decisions.
• Experience providing technical support and guidance to experienced colleagues and project teams.
Desirable experience
• Experience working in the energy, logistics, transportation, shipping, trading, or supply-chain sectors.
• Experience with enterprise platform modernisation or legacy-system replacement programmes.
• Knowledge of master data management and data governance.
• Experience supporting business-critical operational platforms.
• Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code, and agile delivery practices.
