Role Description This is a contract role for a Data Engineer located in the Washington DC-Baltimore Area with flexibility for some work from home. The Data Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and managing data pipelines. Key day-to-day tasks include data modeling, creating and maintaining ETL processes, data warehousing, and performing data analytics to support business objectives. Qualifications β€’ Experience in Data Engineering and Data Modeling β€’ Hands on experience using Spark, Databricks and Python for Data Pipeline workloads. β€’ Proficiency in Extract Transform Load (ETL) processes and Data Warehousing β€’ Skills in Data Analytics, including strong SQL proficiency. β€’ Strong problem-solving and analytical skills β€’ Excellent communication and collaboration abilities β€’ Experience with cloud platforms and big data technologies β€’ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
