DATA ENGINEER (Odoo Expert)
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Engineer with experience in both Shopify and Odoo to join our team. This role will be instrumental in managing our overall data infrastructure as well as assisting our inventory team with administering Odoo that is used for inventory management.

Responsibilities:
β’ Own and optimize the companyβs data architecture and pipelines (ETL/ELT), including scheduling, orchestration, and monitoring (e.g., via Airflow, dbt)
β’ Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability from all systems
β’ Facilitate new data integrations
β’ Document configurations, integrations, and data flows
β’ Oversee data governance and ensure that the system is protected from data breaches
β’ Continuously review and optimize workflows and performance related to our data management and processes.
β’ Maintain API integrations and data connectors with platforms such as Amazon Seller Central, Shopify, Meta, Google Ads, and Klaviyo,
β’ Implement AI/ML-driven solutions for data enrichment, anomaly detection, forecasting, and process automation
Odoo Expertise:
β’ Serve as the in-house Odoo expert, providing comprehensive support and guidance for all Odoo-related initiatives
β’ Manage and execute Odoo upgrades, ensuring seamless transitions and minimal disruption to business operations
β’ Design, develop, and maintain integrations between Odoo and other internal and external systems
β’ Develop and implement data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes
β’ Cultivate fresh ideas and discover new opportunities for leveraging data to improve business efficiency
Requirements
β’ 3+ years experience as a Data Engineer
β’ 1+ years experience using Snowflake for data warehouse
β’ 1+ years experience working on Odoo
β’ Proficiency in data modeling, database design, and SQL
β’ Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT tooling (e.g., dbt, Fivetran, Stitch, Airflow)
β’ Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills
β’ Ability to identify, communicate, solve, and follow up on issues that arise
β’ Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
β’ Experience with Python and other scripting languages commonly used in data engineering
