About the Client Our client is one of the world’s most recognized food and beverage producers, known for its iconic global brands and commitment to quality. Position: Data Engineer Location: On-site in Plano, Texas (Dallas area) – 3 days per week in office; Engagement: Full-time, initial 12+ month contract with potential for long-term extension Overview: Our client is building a data hub that will act as the single source of truth for supply chain applications. This hub will consolidate data from numerous sources, including databases, file systems, data lakes, SAP modules, Salesforce, procurement tools, finance systems, and other enterprise applications. Responsibilities: β€’ Build and maintain data pipelines using Databricks, Python, Spark, and SQL β€’ Integrate data from a wide variety of enterprise applications and sources β€’ Collaborate with onshore, nearshore, and offshore teams in a large, complex enterprise environment β€’ Develop robust ETL processes for downstream analytics and visualization (Power BI team will consume the pipelines) β€’ Ensure solutions meet high standards of scalability, performance, and reliability Requirements: β€’ Minimum 5 years of experience as a Data Engineer in large enterprise environments β€’ Strong experience with Databricks, Python, Spark, and SQL β€’ Proven track record integrating data from diverse sources and systems β€’ Excellent communication skills; able to interface with cross-functional and geographically distributed teams β€’ Ability to work independently in a hands-on engineering role while collaborating effectively with stakeholders β€’ Experience in supply chain data environments is a plus, but not required Applicants must be authorized to work in their country of residence without employer sponsorship.
