Integration and Interoperability Integrate data from diverse sources such as conveyancing systems, lender LOS, HMLR APIs, and credit/KYC providers. Ensure alignment with industry data standards (e.g., OPDA, PDTF). Design APIs and data contracts that enable interoperability across internal and client systems. Performance and Optimisation Monitor data infrastructure performance, ensuring pipelines are reliable and cost-efficient. Optimise data storage and query performance for large-scale property and mortgage datasets. Recommend tools and frameworks to improve scalability and resilience. Key Skills and Qualifications Strong skills in SQL, Python, and modern data pipeline frameworks. Experience with cloud data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP). Solid understanding of data governance, quality, and regulatory requirements. Strong problem-solving and debugging skills in complex data environments. Experience designing APIs and data contracts for interoperability. Familiarity with data visualisation and reporting tools advantageous. Qualifications and Experience 4+ years’ experience as a Data Engineer, ideally in BFSI, legal tech, or PropTech. Proven track record of building and maintaining scalable data pipelines. Experience integrating data from multiple complex systems. Familiarity with the UK property, mortgage, or conveyancing data landscape desirable.
