Data Engineer

Akkodis is seeking a – “Data Engineer” for a Contract position with a client located Remote. Pay Range: $45-$50/hr. (The rate/salary may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.). Role Summary The modern world runs on the Internet, and the Internet cannot exist without its underlying infrastructure. Cisco makes setting up, managing, and maintaining that infrastructure easier than it has ever been before. We are looking for a Data Engineer to join the Common Hardware Groups Data Science & AI Team. As a Data Engineer, you will be a key partner in CHGs analytics ecosystem and at the center of our data. You will own the data tables and ETL pipelines that power key operations and decisions for the XDVT team. To do so, youll work directly with applications that power critical test systems to build and expand on data pipelines that allow for the transfer of vital data. As part of this role, you will develop relationships across teams including XDVT, CHG Ops, supply chain etc. Ideal candidates will have strong communication skills, an analytical mindset, excellent organizational skills, and a bias to action. Minimum Qualifications • 5+ years experience with SQL, Python, Git & Snowflake(or any other cloud-based data-lakes) • 5+ years experience with Linux, Shell & AWS Cloud Architecture • 5+ years of experience in developing & maintaining complex Data Pipeline • 3+ years of experience handling both semi-structured and unstructured data • Outstanding written and oral communication skills.
