Role description
Role: Data Engineer - Palantir Foundry and AWS Kendra exp.
Location: ~San Francisco, CA~
Contract
MUST HAVE - Hands on Palantir and AWS Kendra exp are required
Design, develop, and support scalable data pipelines and integration workflows.
Collaborate closely with ontology teams to model, transform, and manage enterprise data flows.
Analyze complex data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Support data ingestion, transformation, validation, and monitoring activities.
Perform data mapping, lineage analysis, and troubleshooting of data quality issues.
Work with cross-functional teams to optimize data architecture and integration patterns.
Contribute to data platform enhancements, automation initiatives, and operational improvements.
Agile & Scrum Leadership
Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog grooming, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
Track delivery progress and manage sprint execution through JIRA.
Remove impediments and coordinate across technical and business teams to ensure timely delivery.
Support Product Owners and stakeholders in backlog prioritization and roadmap planning.
Drive Agile best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
Strong experience in Data Engineering, ETL/ELT pipelines, and data integration technologies.
Proven expertise in designing and supporting complex data workflows and data movement processes.
Strong understanding of data modeling, metadata, lineage, and governance concepts.
Experience working with cloud-based data platforms and modern data architectures.
Hands-on experience with SQL and data transformation frameworks.
Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Experience using JIRA for sprint and backlog management.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment.
