Key Responsibilities
β’ Develop integrations with specific SaaS applications such as; Workday, Salesforce, and ServiceNow.
β’ Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines to efficiently and securely transfer data from various sources to a data mart or lakehouse.
β’ Transform and cleanse raw data into usable formats for analytics, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
β’ Integrate data from multiple sources and platforms, both structured and unstructured, to provide a unified view of data.
β’ Administer and optimize databases to ensure data availability, performance, and security.
β’ Implement data quality checks and monitoring to identify and rectify data inconsistencies or anomalies.
β’ Work closely with developers, data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and provide support for their data needs.
β’ Diagnose and resolve data-related issues promptly to minimize downtime.
β’ Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend and implement improvements in data engineering practices.
β’ Maintain comprehensive documentation of data pipelines, configurations, and processes.
β’ Coach, mentor and motivate project team members and contractors.
β’ Ensure that database, integration, and DevSecOps best practices are adhered to and ensure lessons learned are followed.

Education: Bachelorβs Degree or equivalent education and/or work experience preferred.
Experience: 3+ years direct work experience in a data engineering, analyst, software development or project management capacity.
β’ An understanding of data warehousing and ETL processes.
β’ Awareness of common programming languages such as Python, Powershell, Java, or Scala
β’ Demonstrated experience with SQL and relational databases (e.g., MS-SQL)
β’ Familiarity with NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, CosmoDB)
β’ Awareness of big data technologies and tools (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, Kafka) is a plus
