Key Responsibilities
β’ Build and maintain data pipelines using Python, Spark, SQL, BigQuery, and Google Cloud
β’ Collaborate with scientists to meet research data needs
β’ Ensure high-quality, well-documented, and tested code
β’ Improve performance metrics and integrate data across teams
Requirements
Essential:
β’ Experience in data engineering
β’ Strong Python & SQL skills
β’ Experience with Google Cloud or similar
β’ Familiarity with unit testing, Git, and Agile
Desirable:
β’ Experience with bioinformatics or scientific datasets
β’ Knowledge of Nextflow, Airflow, NLP, and Docker
β’ Exposure to AI/ML applications
