World Wide Technology is looking for a Data Engineer. This job is part of WWT’s Strategic Resourcing services. The candidate will be supporting a WWT customer and will be employed by one of WWT’s preferred partners. Role: Data Engineer Location: Jefferson City, MO Duration: 12 Months Working Team: Each working team member needs to have 5+ years’ experience in • Data Architecture, Analysis, Reporting and Intelligence • Advanced knowledge in Building Cloud Data repositories in various platforms including AWS, Azure, OCI and GCP • Advanced knowledge of Data Lake, Data Lakehouse, Cloud Data Warehouse and Hybrid Data Repositories • Advanced knowledge in Building end to end data pipelines and infrastructure • Advanced knowledge of data modeling, database design, and ETL/ELT processes • Advanced knowledge of MDM, Data Cataloging, Metadata, and Data Lineage best practices • Intermediate knowledge in developing and maintaining Data Governance standards • Experience with state of Missouri data architecture preferred Performance Requirements: • Design, create, and manage a data architecture including Architectural Diagrams. This includes defining and documenting the overall structure and organization of data, as well as the relationships and interactions between different data elements. • Design, implementing and document data models and database structures that align with business requirements. • Design, implementing and document data intake and optimization, data lakes, data house, big data analysis, AI for data analysis modeling, Azure/AWS data ingestion. • Ensure data consistency, integrity, and quality by establishing data governance policies and standards. • Develop and document strategies for data storage, backup, and recovery. • Collaborate with data engineers and other stakeholders to optimize data flow and accessibility. • Assist in the evaluate and selecting appropriate data storage technologies and platforms, to include, but not limited to; familiarity with ServiceNow, AWS, OCI, GCP and Azure. • Consult and assist as needed. • Must be on-site 10% (at least 2 days per month) in Jefferson City, Missouri
