Location: East Coast hours required; NYC area preferred

Role Overview
The Data Engineer will support the company's Tech Operations data team by running standardized queries, parsing and loading files, and ensuring high-quality data delivery across platforms such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Braze. This is a hands-on technical role requiring strong SQL, Python, and data integration skills within a secure, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
β’ Run standardized SQL/Python queries to extract data from data lakes and other sources.
β’ Parse data files according to ingestion requirements.
β’ Load data into CRM platforms (e.g., SFMC, Braze) via UI or other methods.
β’ Perform quality assurance, resolve data discrepancies, and maintain InfoSec compliance.
β’ Document completion and maintain audit trails in Jira.
β’ Collaborate in Agile environments (Scrum/Kanban).
Basic Qualifications
β’ 3+ yearsβ experience with SQL and Python scripting.
β’ Hands-on experience with Snowflake and/or Databricks.
β’ Experience with CRM/engagement platforms such as Salesforce and Braze.
β’ Familiarity with InfoSec procedures and QA testing.
β’ Experience with Agile methodologies; Jira strongly preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
β’ 3β5 years of data engineering/integration experience.
β’ Background in subscription services or streaming is ideal.
β’ Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks.
β’ Flexible team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Education
β’ Bachelorβs degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
β οΈ Special Requirement: Candidates must be U.S.-based and available to work East Coast hours.
